About Our Products

Q: What are Z&Z fragrance oils (attars)? How are they different from regular perfumes?
A: We craft highly concentrated, oil-based fragrance oils, also known as attars. Unlike alcohol-based perfumes (like Eau de Parfum), our blends are designed for a closer, more intimate, and long-lasting scent. We also offer a selection of traditional attars that are 100% alcohol-free.
Q: What's the difference between fragrance types?
A: Our attars are a highly concentrated, long-lasting alternative to common fragrance types.

Q: Do you offer samples?
A: Yes! Our Discovery Set includes four 3ml pre-packed bottles, letting you explore our scents before buying a full-size bottle. We also plan to offer dedicated Discovery Sets for every new fragrance line we launch.

Using & Caring for Your Fragrance Oil

Q: Are your fragrance oils alcohol-free?
A: Our product line includes a range of attar formulations. While many of our blends are oil-based with minimal alcohol (typically under 10%), we also offer traditional attars that are 100% alcohol-free. For a product's precise alcohol content, please check its individual description.
Q: How should I apply attar?
A: A little goes a long way. Use the roll-on applicator to apply a very small amount to a pulse point, like your wrist. You can also apply a small amount to your beard or hair for lasting scent.
Q: Will attar stain my clothes?
A: Yes, due to their concentrated, oil-based nature, attars can leave oil marks. Avoid applying them directly to your clothing.
Q: How should I store my fragrance oils?
A: Store bottles in a cool, dark place, away from sunlight, heat, and humidity. Keep them capped tightly after use.
Q: Can I layer your scents?
A: Yes. Our attars are great for layering. Apply lightly and experiment to create a unique scent.

Potential Allergy Information

Q: What if I have an allergic reaction?
A: Discontinue use immediately if you experience irritation, redness, or discomfort. We recommend performing a patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours before applying the fragrance more broadly. For known allergies, please consult the full ingredient list on each product page.

Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

Q: How long does shipping take?
A: We process orders within 3 business days. Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
  • Canada: 3–7 business days
  • USA: 5–10 business days
Note: U.S. shipments may face minor customs delays.
Q: Where do you ship?
A: We currently ship to Canada and the United States.
  • For U.S. customers: You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or tariffs.
  • Note: We use compliant ground shipping for some of our blends that contain alcohol. This means some express options are unavailable, and we cannot ship to U.S. PO boxes.
Q: How can I track my order?
A: You'll receive an email with tracking information once your order ships. Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking to update.
Q: What if my package is damaged in transit?
A: All orders are securely packed. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label. We will then assess the issue and may offer a replacement or store credit.

Returns & Exchanges

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Due to the personal nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons like scent preference or change of mind. Please consider a Discovery Set before purchasing a full-size product.
Q: What if I receive the wrong or a damaged item?
A: If your order is incorrect or damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos, and we will help resolve the issue.
